Latest news from Ofgem reveal Feed-in Tariff rates drop for under 50kW
Ofgem announced their changes to the Feed-in Tariff rates on October 31st. These new Feed-in Tariff rates will come into affect on the 1st January 2015 and remain in place until the 31st of March when another announcement of possible changes is expected.
The Feed-in Tariff guarantees you an income from producing and exporting electricity to the grid for the next 25 years at a rate of pence per kWh.
The latest changes to the feed-in tariff rates see PV systems under 50kW expect a 3.5% drop in tariff rates whilst systems of 50kW can still enjoy a healthy 10.34 p/kWh.
