Staff development

Caplor maintains a clear policy of supporting its staff in their training and development. Members of the team are regularly encouraged to attend training events and sabbaticals and our aspiration is for all staff to fulfill their potential – both as employees and as individuals.

Everyone is encouraged to achieve further qualifications and Caplor supports them in doing this.

Staff development days are held regularly; these are always fun but also help the team bond and work together more effectively.

Operations Technical Team Leader

Based in Fownhope Hereford, an area of natural beauty, Caplor has been established for over 100 years.  We are a multi award winning renewable technologies business, dedicated and passionate about the environment.

It is a very exciting time for the renewable energy industry, with the UK committed to reducing carbon emissions to net zero by 2050. We are experiencing major growth in the industry and are looking for an inspiring ‘Operations Technical Team Leader’ to join our office-based team in Herefordshire on a full time basis to work across Solar PV & Battery, Renewable Heating, Solar Thermal & EV charging technologies

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Inspired leadership to ensure everyone in the supply chain is looked after, from customers to installers, suppliers and the team.
  2. Development of the installation teams so as to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction at all times.
  3. Delivery of all key operational processes to ensure achievement of the annual installation targets.

Key Requirements:

  • Appetite for personal development
  • All round contribution with input on all technologies
  • Multi skilled to include technical design and project management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft software, Word and Excel

Regional Sales Manager (West Midlands & Wales)

We have an exciting opportunity to join the renewable energy industry with a very well established business and a new management team driving growth.
The Business
Caplor Energy is a very well-established and highly respected renewable energy business working within Agriculture, Commercial, Domestic and Community projects. The business is located on its own farm in the beautiful county of Herefordshire which not only hosts our own offices, but also is a working renewable energy site, showcasing all the key technologies. We are driven by a desire to contribute to a net zero-carbon society and deliver well designed and high-quality solutions to our clients.
The Role
The business is expanding and requires a Sales Manager to establish and build long lasting relationships with clients, provide excellent technical solutions, establish clear and concise analysis on returns on investment, write and present quality sales proposals, close business and deliver high quality briefs for the operations team.
