“Ours was an unusual job as the insulation in the roof space made it impossible to remove the slates. One company we spoke to said they could not install solar panels but Caplor was up for the challenge and completed a brilliant installation. Nothing was too much trouble for them and once we made the decision to go ahead everything moved very quickly and efficiently. Steve, the lead installer, put a lot of thought into how best to install the panels and he made the whole process an absolute pleasure.”

“Well done Caplor – we will be happy to recommend you to anyone.”

Caplor was the second of those quotes and they were very impressed by the thoroughness of the survey that was carried out and the  passion for renewable energy that was conveyed. The price and terms were similar for each quote but they felt that Caplor offered a better overall service.

“Having made the decision to proceed with Caplor, we found all the staff involved in the process were exemplary. The installers were a lot of fun and very professional….. in fact, the whole process smacked of professionalism. We will now be recommending Caplor to all of our friends.”

The Davies’s Story

Mr Davies has worked for the local energy network (now known as Western Power Distribution) for over 46 years…..so he has a pretty good knowledge of most things to do with electricity!!  They invested some time ago in Solar Thermal panels to heat their hot water and when the Feed-in Tariff came along thought they should also have PV panels installed. They selected Caplor Energy because of us being a local company able to offer a complete package at very competitive prices.

“Our experience with Caplor has been excellent. All our silly questions were answered and the installers were very customer focused. We have already recommended Caplor to two people and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else we come across who is interested in having solar panels installed.”

Managing Director’s Comments

“As our offices are used largely during daylight hours it makes perfect sense to generate electricity with solar panels which can be used to reduce our running costs. The income we will get from even a fairly small system should allow us to repay the capital we have invested in well under 10 years”

“I feel strongly that businesses should make every effort to utilise our natural resources by installing renewable energy systems. We must all do our bit to reduce carbon emmissions and Solar PV seems a very cost effective way of doing that.”

” We had a minor problem with the scaffolding causing damage to a manhole cover but as soon as we notified Caplor of the problem they were quick to act to get the matter rectified. Well done to you all and keep up the good work.”

THE COLLEYS’ STORY

It’s difficult to have a small carbon footprint when you live in a very old house in a rural area, but they take simple, effective measures like walking, cycling and using public transport (but not flying). Since installing their solar panels the Colleys have really begun to make big cuts to their carbon emissions.

Derek said on his newest installation, “I have always recorded electritity usage at home and the attached chart is part of my record of Annual kWhrs based on the previous 4 quarterly meter readings. Imagine my delight in today’s update after the current quarterly Bill reduced from £74 to £24.’’

He kindly gave us his annual electricity consumption – click here to view it.
