I would like to invest in 4kw ground mounted solar PV on the land as well. The problem I have run into is the cost of grid connection; I have been quoted £23,000+ by e-on Networks who I understand do the cabling for my area, to put in cable 250m from my boundary to the nearest grid electric supply. That would of course be on top of the cost of the panels and installation. Not feasible. Do you know of solutions to this cost problem? I am hoping I might get over to your open day on Saturday.
