Caplor joined a number of other renewable energy companies and businesses involved with a sustainable lifestyle at the annual Spring Greens Fair on Saturday 7th May. The event, hosted by Richie Cotterill, was held at New House Farm, Almeley, Hfds where he has two off-grid houses which show just what can be achieved to reduce the carbon output of our homes. There were also talks and demonstrations throughout the day on the many other ways that we can reduce our individual impact on the planet. I was particularly impressed with the nettle brew and the curry which used all sorts of things we can find growing naturally in our gardens.
Such events are vital to ensure that this sort of information is made readily available to the general public and Caplor Energy welcomes any opportunity to help spread the word of the need to have a more sustainable lifestyle. Well done to Richie and all the participants who braved the stormy weather and thank you for giving us the opportunity to be a part of this hugely important event.
